Here are a few quick links that I used myself while implementing this blog. I hope it will be useful for you as well, whether it's a whole new layout you're looking for or just ideas. Although there are more websites out there offering blogger layouts, I feel these sites are the ones with the most effective layouts, especially for beginners.
